How to swap faces in a photo

Start with a clear portrait and a template, then review your face swap in the app.

1. Choose your portrait

Open Face Swap and choose a clear photo of the face you want to use. A well-lit, front-facing portrait gives you a better starting point.

2. Pick a template

Choose a template in the app, or use the Template control to add your own photo. Use photos you own or have permission to edit.

3. Create and review

Run the face swap and inspect the face, hairline and surrounding details. Different photos can produce different results; try another portrait or template if needed.

4. Save or share

Use Save to keep the result, or Share to send it through an app you choose. Make clear that a face-swapped image is edited when sharing it.

For a better result

Keep a copy of your source photo. A template with a similar face angle and clear lighting is often easier to work with than a heavily covered or strongly turned face.
